Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God is Jonathan Edwards' most famous--and compelling sermon. Preached during the Great Awakening, it warned sinners of the danger they are in without faith in Christ. The attributes of God--His holiness, justice, and power--are marshalled against men who thought outward morality and church attendance were enough to secure their souls on the day of death.
