Journey in Purity

A Journey in Purity
Richard Belcher

This is a gripping and challenging story of a young pastor, Ira Pointer, and his difficult and heart-breaking struggle to bring purity to the corrupt and impure church he pastors.  From the unexpected bizarre event which forces him to face the issue of church purity to the final resolution of the heart-breaking struggle, the reader is gripped by the unfolding story and its numerous twists and turns.   Standing almost alone in this spiritual battle against the advice and counsel of fellow pastors, denominational workers and many of his church members, Pastor Pointer develops and seeks to apply clear Biblical convictions concerning church purity and discipline.

This is a book with which every pastor and church member who has ever wrestled with the principles and cost of church discipline will identify. Truly this is also a worthy and powerful sequel to the first theological novel, "A Journey in Grace" by the same author.

Dr. Richard P. Belcher has been in the ministry since 1952, having pastured for 20 years, spent 2 years in full-time evangelism, taught in a Bible college, and traveled over the states and out of the States in a ministry of the Word of God. He holds a doctorate of theology from Concordia Theological Seminary in St. Louis. He is the author of numerous other books in the field of bible study.
